One of the most unique experiences inside Hagia Sophia is the "Wishing Column", also known as the "Weeping Column". Legend says if you insert your thumb into the hole, rotate your hand 360 degrees, and feel moisture, your wish will come true. Don’t be surprised to see a long queue of visitors hoping to make a wish!
During my visit, touching the cool surface of the column and watching people from around the world participate in this tradition was truly memorable.
